Scope of contract: This arrangement provides eligible purchasers with access to over 200 pre-qualified suppliers in a range of engineering and environmental categories (listed below) that offer buyers access to services for a wide range of associated projects.  All contractors have demonstrated their capability and capacity to deliver in relation to the categories that they are approved for. The categories, and high-level indicators of what is included in each one, are tabled below and over the page.  A comprehensive list is available via Vendor Panel.

 Engineering Categories

  • Aviation – airport infrastructure and management
  • Civil – roads, bridges, and dams.
  • Electrical – electronic, telecommunications, control and electrical power systems
  • Geotechnical/Geological – soil and rock sampling and testing. Foundations, earthworks, earth retaining structures and pavements
  • Mechanical – building services including air conditioning and ventilation, power generation and public utilities
  • Quarry Management – design, operation, and maintenance
  • Structural – towers and buildings. Determine capability of built structures and components to fulfil their intended function
  • Traffic and Transport – systems and structures to move people and goods
  • Water and Sewage – storage, treatment, distribution & reticulation, recycling, disposal, drainage, control systems.

Environmental Categories

  • Air Quality – regulatory requirement, pollution & air quality assessments
  • Carbon Management – auditing, analysis & reporting, offset management, economic modelling
  • Climate Change and Sustainability – reporting & advice, risk assessment and analysis
  • Environmental Business and Planning – planning & modelling, policy & procedural development, expert testimony, advice and reporting, risk assessment
  • Hazardous Materials/Hygiene – asbestos, HazMat Registers, occupational hygiene, health and safety, toxicology, environmental and human health
  • Land and Natural Resources – erosion, soil quality, contaminated land, ecology and biodiversity, flora and fauna, resource management, site assessment and remediation
  • Marine – coastal environment and marine structures. Coastal protection
  • Noise and Vibration – regulatory advice, monitoring, modelling and prediction, mitigation, and impact assessment
  • Waste Disposal and Recycling – collection, recycling, landfill, and asbestos
  • Water Resources – lakes, rivers, streams and aquifers. Riparian areas. Waterway & catchment management. Water quality
